Project application of Rami Faraj has received funding from the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR) within jubilee edition of the LIDER program. The aim of the project is to develop the prototype of adaptive rescue cushion.

Professor Howard A. Stone from Princeton University visited our Institute on August 27-30, 2019. His stay is supported in part by NAWA.

Filippo Pierini from the Department of Biosystems and Soft Matter, IPPT PAN, has received funding for a scientific project, carried out with a foreign partner from Italy, as part of the CANALETTO programme. CANALETTO comprises of research projects shared between specific Polish and Italian research groups.

National Science Centre (NCN) has approved and subsidized five new projects from IPPT PAN

Professor Stephen Ekwaro-Osire, Interim Chair of Department of Mechanical Engineering, Texas Tech University, USA, visited IPPT PAN in June 20-23, 2019. Both institutions intend to broaden the scientific collaboration of faculty/researchers and students.

IPPT PAN begins the implementation of a new project titled "International cooperation on complex systems and modern technologies - THACA". Funds for financing the project have been granted by the National Agency for Academic Exchange as part of the first competition in the International Academic Partnerships program.

On 12 October 2018, our Institute has been visited by Prof. Felix Unger, President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (EASC). The guest were greeted by Prof. Michał Kleiber – Vicepresident of EASC, Prof. Tadeusz Burczyński - Director of IPPT PAN and Prof. Janusz Szczepański - Deputy Director for Research.

European Commission, in the frame of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange call, has subsidized the project "iP-OSTEO - Induced pluripotent stem cell seeded active osteochondral nanofibrous scaffolds". The project is coordinated by Eva Filova PhD from the Institute of Experimental Medicine of the Czech Academy of Sciences. IPPT PAN will be represented by Tomasz Kowalczyk PhD from the Laboratory of Polymers and Biomaterials.
