A new book by Tadeusz Burczyński, Maciej Pietrzyk, Wacław Kuś, Łukasz Madej, Adam Mrozek, Łukasz Rauch entitled “Multiscale Modelling and Optimisation of Materials and Structures” has been recently published by Wiley, 2022.

The IPPT PAN has, again, won the “Most Doctorate-Friendly” award for the institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences. And it has been holding its title for several years. The award ceremony took place 19 November.

At IPPT PAN we are preparing to start the project HORIZON-MSCA-2021-SE-01. The title of the project "DIAGONAL". - Ductility and Fracture Toughness analysis of functionally graded materials.

On 18th November, IPPT PAN held the annual Awards Ceremony of the Zyczkowski Award organized by the Committee on Mechanics

The new 2022/2023 academic year has begun. Currently, IPPT PAN runs two schools: IPPT PAN Doctoral School and Doctoral School of Information and Biomedical Technologies

We are very pleased to announce that Dr. Piotr Chudziński will implement the project: "A new pathway for future electronic devices: collective electron-lattice states in nanostructures".

Joint CMM-SolMech 2022 conference was held on September 5-8. This event encompassed the 24th International Conference on Computer Methods in Mechanics (CMM) and the 42nd Solid Mechanics Conference (SolMech)

The Polish Centre for Accreditation (PCA) has granted accreditation no. AB 1839 to the Laboratory of IPPT PAN in the area of researching mechanical products and engineering materials

The IPPT PAN has finished research and development activities for United Robots, an American company
