
Professor Michał Kleiber has been nominated for the Great Commander of Independence Award. Professor Michał Kleiber has been one of the most distinguished figures in Polish science. He has been associated with the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research since 1971. Throughout his distinguished career in research and public service, he has held numerous prominent positions, including President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Minister of Science, and Adviser to the President of the Republic of Poland. He is also a Knight of the Order of the White Eagle and serves as the Chancellor of the Order of the White Eagle.
Professor Kleiber’s distinguished achievements encompass both scientific excellence and public service dedicated to advancing Polish science and enhancing its standing both nationally and internationally. For many years, he has been a prominent voice in discussions on the development of science and innovation, as well as on the vital role of scientific research in building a modern, knowledge-based society.

These include the title of Leader of National Security with the Hetman’s Baton, the Ring of a Patriot, and the Ring of the Centenary of the Independence of the Republic of Poland.
