MSCA Postdocotral Fellowships

Postdoctoral Fellowships within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA PF) are dedicated to postdoctoral researchers who plan to do their postdocs abroad.

Why IPPT PAN?

Institute of Fundamental Technological Research, Polish Academy of Sciences Polish abbreviation: IPPT PAN) one of the biggest technical institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences. By aiming at solid, recognizable scientific achievements, we are committed to initiate, develop and strengthen the cooperation between the most prominent representatives of various parts of the economy and outstanding scientists in the fields of technology.

We are experienced in implementing various national and international projects, including those funded within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions.

As a MSCA fellow in Poland you can expect the following salary (gross amounts):

  • basic salary: 4438 € / month
  • mobility allowance: 710€ / month
  • family allowance: 660 € / month (in case of family obligations only).

Additionally the grant will provide the costs of research, training and networking in the amount of 1000 € per month.


Eligible researchers

You can submit your MSCA PF proposal with IPPT PAN as a host organisation if:

  • you have received your PhD degree no longer than 8 years prior to the call deadline. Periods of inactivity in research (such as maternity/paternity leave, long-time sickness, work outside research) do not count towards the eligibility time.
  • you haven’t resided (studies, work) in Poland for longer than 12 months within the last 36 months prior to the call deadline,
  • you will find a supervisor at IPPT PAN.


MSA PF Master Class at IPPT PAN

Candidates who are accepted by their supervisors will be invited to participate in a 2-day online master class in PF proposal preparation at the beginning of June 2024.

Take a look at the list of supervisors, see who matches your expertise and contact them directly to discuss the joint application.

At this point please send your potential supervisor:

  • a brief description of your project idea (max. 2 pages)
  • your CV highlighting your education and major research achievements (max. 3 pages)
