
The Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IPPT PAN) invites students, doctoral students, academic and administrative staff from foreign research centres to participate in the Erasmus+ mobility programme. We offer opportunities for training and internships in our research teams and administration.
Who can visit us?
- students and doctoral students from institutions holding an ECHE Charter,
- academic and teaching staff undertaking mobility related to teaching,
- academic, teaching and administrative staff undertaking training.
What needs to be agreed before arrival?
Admitting a person from abroad requires prior agreement on the terms of mobility with the sending institution and preparation of the relevant documents:
For staff – teaching activities:
- Inter-institutional Agreement,
- Mobility Agreement – Staff Mobility for Teaching.
For employees – training:
- agreement on the training programme (Mobility Agreement – Staff Mobility for Training).
For students and doctoral students – internships:
- agreement on the internship programme (Learning Agreement – Student Mobility for Traineeships).
The arrangements are made by the supervisor/head of the department, in consultation with the Erasmus+ Coordinator at IPPT PAN.
Insurance
Persons arriving under the Erasmus+ programme must have insurance valid in Poland for the entire duration of their stay:
- health insurance,
- accident insurance,
- (in the case of students and doctoral students) civil liability insurance for the duration of the internship.
Insurance is provided by the sending institution or by the participant themselves.
Support during your stay
During your stay at IPPT PAN, you will receive:
- substantive support from the unit where the mobility is taking place,
- organisational support in cooperation with the Erasmus+ Coordinator,
- preparation of a certificate confirming the completion of the mobility (issued after the end of the stay),
- (applies to students and doctoral students) completion of the ‘During the mobility’ and ‘After the mobility’ sections in the Learning Agreement.
Important information
The rules for accepting participants under the Erasmus+ programme remain in force until further notice or until the IPPT PAN loses its rights under the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education granted by the European Commission.
